Canoe hire and tuition are on offer in Poole Harbour or you can hire a kayak or stand-up paddleboard from the surf shop at Boscombe. If you want to make a day of it, take a canoe safari to nearby Arne nature reserve, spotting rare birds, marine life, and perhaps a seal if you’re lucky.
